Newry's Senior Men's team are hoping to gather together a squad to compete in a tournament to be held in Queens on 1st and 2nd of May.
The returning Newry side hope to use both returning experienced players such as Paul Crawley, Nigel Murphy and Colly Mc Evoy and mix this with young talent from the U19 team such as Captain Nial Byrne, Ali Gorman and David Ruddy to see if this once competitive Newry team can shake off the two year break and represent their club and city once again.
The success of this venture back into Senior Ball is an attempt to boost the clubs hopeful return to the NI league in 2010/11.

Newry Fliers will host 2 friendly matches on Saturday 21st May against St. Oliver's, Drogheda. U16 game tips off at 10.15am followed by the U19 game at 11.30am. There will be no training for all other junior members. |
