Derry have confirmed the change of date and so the final U19 game will be held in Newry Sports Centre on Sunday 14th March at 3pm.

Training on Saturday 13th will be as normal.

There may be a change to the date for the last U19 league game of the season from Saturday the 13th March to Sunday 14th March @ 3pm.

The game would still be held in Newry in the sports centre, we are waiting confirmation from Derry that they can travel on that date and then we can confirm it with the team and officals.

The main reason for this change is that as its the last game of the season Coach Crawley has asked that we try and re arrange the game to allow him to be there.

If any of the team know of reasons why the 14th is not an option for them can they please contact Paul as soon as possible.

It was a trip to Omagh that the Fliers were well prepared for having suffered a defeat to Thunder at home earlier in the session the Fliers were ready for a rematch.

Last Saturday saw Newry Flyers U14 team travelling to play Queens in Belfast for their second meeting of the season.
Newry were confident after their victory earlier in the season, but didn't want to risk losing their unbeaten run.
