Due to a drop in numbers North Star can not field a team to travel to Newry this weekend. Therefore the game on Saturday is to be rescheduled for hopefully Sat 6th March. Will confirm details asap. 

Training for U19 is still on. 

 

Saturday saw Newry Flyers U19 Boys travel to Downpatrick to face Down Vikings, marking the midpoint of their season with a tough encounter.

After we've all finished eating Turkey and Mince Pies we are back into the season with full force on Saturday Jan 9th, with a 10am U14 home game against A-town followed by an 11.30am U19 game against Bangor.

On Friday 11^th December Newry Filers U19 squad travelled to Magherafelt to play the Titans in their 5^th game of the season. With the Newry side having 2 wins and 2 losses behind them they needed to secure a win in game 5 to remain in with a chance to challenge for the league title.
